SBG Newsletter – December 2019

Welcome to the SBG Newsletter – December 2019

A word from our CEO Jeff Sachs

“2019 has been quite the year for SBG Funding. Not only did we move into a new office, but we’ve also grown exponentially. When reflecting on our company’s growth, a few things stand out as being the keys to our successful expansion. While growing a business is exciting, it’s also intimidating. But, with a well-thought-out plan in place, you can easily take your business to the next level. Here are my tips for successfully scaling your company in 2020:

Make a growth plan

One of the biggest reasons that businesses fail when trying to grow is a lack of planning. You must have a very detailed growth strategy that will help you track your progress and stay on track to meet your goals. Identify your opportunities for growth, analyze your strengths and weaknesses, do a competitive analysis, and create an action plan for executing your growth strategy.

Be passionate and dedicated

Passion is contagious. As a business owner, if you are passionate about what you do, it will show to both your employees and your customers.

Make smart hiring decisions

As you grow your business, you will undoubtedly need additional employees. Don’t be tempted to rush the hiring process simply to fill positions. Vet all of your candidates and only hire individuals who you know will provide long-term value to your company. Building a team of like-minded people behind you who are devoted to their jobs will pay off in the long run.

Remember that growth doesn’t happen overnight, so don’t get discouraged if it takes time. As  Albert Einstein once said, “The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary.”

Best Regards,
Jeff Sachs
