June Employee Spotlight of the Month

  1. What is your name and title?
    Jason Javich, Account Executive.
  2. Where are you from?
    Long Island, New York.
  3. How long have you been working at SBG?
    About a year and a half.
  4. What are you currently binge watching?
    Handmaids and the Looming Tower.
  5. What is your favorite part about working for SBG?
    I come from a family of entrepreneurs so being able to build relationships with business owners is incredibly fulfilling (especially after a year with so much uncertainty for the small business community). 
  6. What is your favorite sports team?
    New York Islanders. Go Isles!
  7. Share something that no one would ever guess about you.
    I have a cat! (Hi Baxter… he’s my cat).
  8. Briefly describe what your typical workday at SBG is like.
    I spend my mornings reaching out to business owners who recently placed financing inquiries and following up on conversations from earlier in the week. I then work offers from underwriting and present options to my clients. Our office environment is fast paced and demanding so the days fly by!
  9. What do you like to do for fun when you are not in the office?
    I like to clean the dishes, I mean cook, with my fiancé. I also like to play tennis, watch playoff hockey, go hiking, and travel when I can!
  10. What is the best vacation you’ve ever been on?
    Costa Rica, February 2020, right before the pandemic hit.
  11. What is the greatest piece of advice that you have ever gotten from someone?
    Never forget to stop and appreciate how far you’ve come, and who you are is so much greater than what you do.
  12. Do you have a motto or personal mantra?
    Work hard. Stay accountable. Be humble.
