SBG Funding is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We want every business owner to be able to find out what financing is available to them and to apply for it, regardless of how they access the web.

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive and neurological disabilities.

What we do

Images on our site carry descriptive alternative text so that screen reader users get the same information as everyone else. Decorative images are marked as such so they are skipped rather than read aloud. Our forms use visible, associated labels on every field. We publish our pages as text rather than as images of text, so content can be resized, reflowed and read by assistive technology.

Where we know we fall short

Accessibility is not a finished state, and we would rather tell you where we are than claim more than we have earned. We are currently working on keyboard navigation, heading structure and color contrast in some page headers across the site. If you encounter a barrier we have not listed, we want to hear about it.

This statement reflects our own review of the site. We have not yet commissioned an independent accessibility audit. We review this statement at least once a year.
