Reading Your Estimate

Three numbers came back, and two of them behave differently from a term loan’s. Here is what each one is telling you.

The Limit Is What You Can Draw, Not What You Owe

Approval sets a ceiling, not a balance. A $100,000 limit with nothing drawn is a $100,000 line you owe nothing on. Draw $20,000 and you owe $20,000, and repaying it puts the full limit back within reach without a new application.

The Rate Applies to the Balance, Not the Limit

The monthly rate above is charged on what you have actually drawn. On a $100,000 limit with $20,000 outstanding, it applies to the $20,000. An untouched line accrues nothing, which is why a line of credit costs nothing to keep open and ready for the month you need it.

Frequently Asked Questions

It is an estimate based on what you enter, not an offer. It models the credit limit, payment and monthly rate a business with your profile typically qualifies for. A real offer comes from reviewing your 4 most recent business bank statements, so the final limit can be higher or lower.

No. The calculator runs entirely on what you type and touches no credit bureau. Applying does not affect your score either. SBG Funding uses a soft pull to verify identity and never runs a hard credit inquiry.

SBG Funding’s business lines of credit run from $5,000 to $500,000. Your limit depends on monthly revenue, deposit consistency and time in business. For amounts above $500,000, a term loan is the right product.

Only what you draw. An approved limit of $100,000 with $20,000 drawn is charged on the $20,000. Repay the draw and the full limit becomes available again without reapplying. An undrawn line costs you nothing to hold.

A line of credit fits recurring or unpredictable costs: payroll between invoices, seasonal inventory, a gap you expect to face more than once. A term loan fits one known amount with a defined purpose and a fixed payoff. If you can name the amount and the date you need it by, a term loan is usually the cheaper structure.

A minimum of $150,000 in annual revenue, at least 6 months in business, a FICO score of 500 or above, and your 4 most recent business bank statements. No collateral is required and no tax returns are needed to start.
